Frequently asked questions
Q: What are the days of operation?
A: We operate Thursday- Sunday from sun-up to 8pm-ish (when most of our tasting rooms close) as well as pre-work shuttles in the summer months. Don’t worry, we’re happy to accommodate your chartered trip’s requests outside these hours. We will also have pop-up shuttles and special events advertised through our social media accounts!
Q: What if I want to cancel or reschedule my tour?
A; If you charter the entire shuttle (or book for 6 or more people) you may reschedule your tour up to 72 hours in advance. Cancellations up to 72 hours in advance will be refunded less a %25 cancellation fee. All other cancellations, no shows or late arrivals will receive no refund. If your shuttle is canceled for weather or trail status reasons you will be offered to reschedule or given a refund.
Q; Are food or beverages provided?
A; Food and beverages are not provided during your Brewery Tour. You’re welcome to bring water bottles and food along and free snacks as well as food for purchase is available at or near many of our stops. Brewery Tour customers enjoy drink discounts in Helena’s incredible tasting rooms!
Trail shuttles do not include food. Catered meals are available for additional charge and water will be available for filling bottles and hydration packs on private shuttles.
Q: Should I tip the driver/guide?
A: Did you have a good time? Did we fulfill or exceed your expectations? Then by all means! Tips are greatly appreciated.
Q: Are Guided Mountain Biking trips/Hikes available?
A: Due to our agreement/permitting with the USFS and land owners/managers, at this time we shuttle trail users for drop off and pick up trips only. Your knowledgeable driver will make ride suggestions but trail users are ultimately responsible for route planning, way finding, and on trail needs. Some maps will be available for purchase but VS&T recommends maps be purchased pre-shuttle as needed.
Q: Do you rent bikes?
A: No we do not. Limited bike rentals are available at local bike shops.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Unfortunately, due to concerns regarding allergies and unpredictable animal behaviors, we do not allow dogs or pets on shuttles or tours.
Q: What should I wear?
A: We will be in operational breweries at times so please dress appropriately. Closed-toed shoes are recommended for safety reasons.
Q: Can I drink alcohol in the vehicle?
A: Alcohol may not be consumed in the vehicle between breweries. Cold storage will be available for closed container beer purchases.
